Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care will be taught by Pastor Danny O’Brien along with others from our pastoral team. This course is for everyone, especially for those looking to gain an inside look at how our team approaches pastoral care.

Homiletics

Dr. Ian Henderson will teach our Biblical Preaching and Teaching Course. This is a practical course for those looking to gain practical experience with first hand feedback.

Field Ministry

For the practical component of the school, each student will choose a ministry to actively serve in for a couple of hours a week during the school term. Certificate of Completion Students will graduate with a Certificate of Completion for each year of Dunamis School of Ministries – Year 1 and Year 2. As we are wanting to provide affordable studies this is not an accredited school. The Certificates of Completion are recognised by other ministries and churches.

Courses are pass/fail with the following three requirements for completion.

100% attendance – Classes will be recorded and accessible online. (If you miss class due to being sick, for instance, you can catch up by watching the content online.)

Quizzes – Quizzes will be given at the beginning of each class by the lecturer or over the phone for online students.

3

Written or Oral Assignment – A final assignment per class due at the end of the term.
